Gina was born in Cortland, NY and relocated to Dewitt, NY after high school.  Gina holds three degrees: Certification in Travel and Tourism from The Boyd School of Business & Travel in 1988, an associate’s degree in the Paralegal Program from Tompkins Cortland Community College in 1993, and her Bachelor of Business Management & Economics with a Concentration in Human Resource Management from SUNY Empire State College in 2006.   

After getting her Paralegal Degree, she worked as a Paralegal/Legal Secretary for 8 years. Wanting to expand her horizons and further her education, Gina decided to go for a bachelor’s degree and pursue a career in Human Resources. 

The traditions of her Italian family heritage influenced the strength of her convictions and thus her decisions. As luck would have it, her first job in the field took her abroad to live and work in Italy for 5 years as a Program Director & HR Generalist for Artist Retreat Workshops.

Upon returning to the U.S., Gina continued her work in Human Resources for an additional 4 years as an HR Generalist before joining The Wolak Group as Human Resources Business Partner for People & Culture in 2017. The biggest joy in Gina’s life is spending time with her parents, siblings, and nephews, and keeping family traditions alive for the new generation.  Gina loves to travel and enjoys being at the ocean.  She particularly loves the Island of Capri in Italy.  In her down time, she is an avid movie buff.
